About Me
My name is Virginia Greer. I am a wife and a mother to two beautiful girls. We live in the Illinois Quad City Area.
I went to college to be a teacher, my childhood dream, and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education from Illinois State University. After teaching for 2 years in central Missouri and another 2 years in the Chicago area I left teaching. I worked for 4 years in "the REAL world". I had a great job working with computers and PC support. My husband and I worked together in the same building, it was GREAT! We bought our first home and had our first daughter. Then, I was laid off in the Spring of 2003. I didn't know what to do, even though I wanted to be home with my daughter. I looked at several work from home groups, but none of them were a good fit.
In the Spring of 2004, my husband took a new job that allowed me to stay at home and and be a full time Mommy, just what I wanted. We were so happy. It took us 8 months to sell our house in the Greater-Chicago area. During that time my husband would drive the 3 hours between his new job and our home. Eventually the house did sell and we were back together as a family should be. On Valentine's Day 2005 we discovered Baby #2 was on the way. The spring and summer was spent suffering from "all day sickness" (not morning sickness) and being tired from low iron. Soon after our second daughter was born, on Halloween, I began feeling the need to do something, to help earn some extra money for the family.
One day in January I stumbled across an ad for another home business. So I put my information in and figured I would get an email back, maybe a phone call. That is the day I found the Cleaner Burning Scented Candle Business. There was something different about the call I got, but I wasn't sure what it was. I agreed to get the information packet and take a look, after all what was it going to hurt. I planned to say "No Thank You, Thanks for the information" and move on, keep on doing what I was doing. I was sent information about a FREE eCourse to "learn before you burn". Ok, now I was intrigued, they are actually going to show me how to do this before I sign up? I was amazed at all the support I got from the team, and I haven't looked back. With the support of my husband I decided to become a businesswoman, an entrepreneur. The first day those candles arrived I was amazed at the scent and the quality.
I am so happy that I found this team and this company. I am looking forward growing my business together with them. The best thing is, I can work MY business the way that is best for ME. Around my family and I still get to be home with my two beautiful girls.
